Service and Skies: The Air Force Experience

Christopher graduated from high school in Rochester, NH, and soon found his calling in the United States Air Force. Serving as a Boom Operator for 7 ½ years, he accumulated nearly 2000 hours on KC-135A and KC-135R model aircraft, participating in pivotal missions during the Iran & Iraq War, Desert Shield and Storm, and Operation Deny Flight over Bosnia. His role required precision, bravery, and a keen attention to detail, whether refueling stealth fighters over Iraq’s dark desert or refueling test missions with the legendary pilot Chuck Yeager.

A Worldview Through the Lens

The bird’s eye views and world-spanning travels of his military service profoundly influenced Christopher’s approach to photography. Moonlit nights over the Adriatic Sea and the majesty of Crater Lake from above gave him a unique perspective that he now captures through his lens. His love of aviation seamlessly transitioned into his pursuit of a degree in International Management for Aerospace Operations from Metropolitan State University of Denver, further broadening his understanding of how aviation connects the world.

A Father’s Pride and a Grandfather’s Influence

He speaks with immense pride about his son, whose gentle nature and fierce sense of justice have been a source of inspiration.
